About the Author

Miyanishi Tatsuya was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan in 1956. He gets creative inspiration from the childhood memories he retains in his heart and the experience of raising four children. He makes his works full of innocence and fun, and uses warm and humorous stories and powerful paintings. The wind is in a league of its own. While creating, he is also committed to the promotion of picture books, traveling to every prefecture in Japan to give picture book lectures to children and parents.
