About the Author

Grace Lin is a Chinese-American children's literature writer and illustrator. She has created more than 20 picture books and young adult novels for children. Most of Grace Lin's works are about the life experiences of Asian Americans. She believes that "books can eliminate prejudice, turn the unusual into everyday life, make ordinary life full of flavor, and allow different cultures to be accepted by the public. In 2016, Lin Peisi's works were exhibited at the White House, and she was awarded the " "Pioneers of Transformation in Asian American and Pacific Islander Art and Storytelling."
