About
A gift from a Google scientist mother, planting a seed of scientific thinking in her children's hearts. Help parents give their children a preliminary understanding of programming knowledge and generate interest from the perspective of family enlightenment.
Ola is six years old today. In order to find out how many stars there are in the sky, she and her robot friend Didi came to Google to seek help from scientists there. In the end, they not only found the answer to the problem, but also gained courage, creativity, collaboration, logical thinking and problem-solving skills! You want to know, how do they do it?
Programming is not only a technical book, but also a way to train children's logical thinking. Writing programs is actually a process of analyzing, disassembling, and solving problems, and these are a person's core competitiveness. As Steve Jobs once said, “Everyone in our country should learn programming because it teaches you how to think.”
About the Author
Koman Singh, a Google scientist, has a 6-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. She is a strong working woman during the day and a warm story-telling mother at night. The scientist who is best at writing picture books in the computer industry created this book because he wanted to tell his four-year-old daughter what programming is. Not only did she cross-border writing picture books, she also roped in many Google executives to create with her, namely the following four.
Parisa Tabriz specializes in network security and information networks. She is the security director of Google Chrome and protects the security of the world's most valuable brands.
Kripa Krishnan, senior director of technical project management at Google, leads a team that protects Google's infrastructure so that it will never collapse even if there is an earthquake or alien invasion!
Diana Tang, known as Google’s “Click Queen.” She digs deep into the data to derive insights into Google customers' browsing habits by analyzing their product usage. If you want to advertise your product on Google, she can recommend suitable keywords to you and determine how much you need to pay for the ad. Become a "code supervisor" in the book.
