About the Author

Jess Keating is a zoologist and author who was inspired by repeated alligator bites and being sprayed by skunks. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, where she enjoys watching documentaries, hiking, and writing books for adventurous and fun-loving children.
Marta Alvarez Migens is a self-taught children's illustrator. She was born in 1976 in a small town in the Spanish province of Galicia and now lives in A Coruña. She collaborates with several Spanish and international publishers to illustrate educational and picture books. She is a member of the Galician Society of Illustrators.
