About the Author

Naokata Maze was born in a small fishing town on the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is a place surrounded by fertile sea and mountains, and the scenery is very beautiful. Perhaps because he grew up by the sea, Naokata Maze has been full of endless longing for mountains since he was a child. The "Drive Away" series is a set of panoramic vehicle picture books created by Naokata Maze. He hopes that children will gain a lot of happiness from reading the "Drive Away" series as if they were actually traveling.
