About the Author

Matthew Cordell, Caldecott Medal winner, well-known picture book creator, and an outstanding and shining "rising star" in the American children's book industry. He is the author of more than 20 children's picture books, including "Special Express" co-written with another Caldecott Medal author Philip Steed. His work "I Met a Little Bad Wolf" won the 2018 Caldecott Gold Medal.
