About the Author

Kusano Taki

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1970. Graduated from Japan's practical women's junior college. He won the Kodansha Children’s Literature Newcomer Award for his book “Pull Out the Crystal Clear Thread”. "Half Man" won the Japan Association of Children's Literature Scholars Award. Other works include "Happy Notebook", "Honey Honey", "The Incredible Stray Cat" and "The Incredible Puppy and My Secret".

Naokata Maze

Born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, he is a member of the Japan Children's Publishing Artists Alliance. The series of picture books on transportation he created have been widely praised, and the copyrights have been exported to many countries. Several volumes have been selected as selected books by the Japan Library Association and selected books by the Japan Children's Book Research Association.
