About the Author

Baek Heena, born in 1971, graduated from the Department of Educational Engineering at Ewha Womans University in South Korea. He once worked in the development of children's CDs, then studied film and television animation production in the United States, and now specializes in children's book creation. South Korea's "Dong-A Ilbo" once organized a questionnaire "Who are the most influential picture book writers in South Korea?" Baek Heena ranked second in the survey, and was hailed by the media as "the iconic figure of Asian picture books going global."
