About the Author
松冈达英
日本著名自然科学生物画家。1944年生于日本新泻县，毕业于东京美术设计学院，致力于自然科学绘本的创作。绘本作品《精彩的世界之自然界》（大日本图书）获日本厚生省儿童福祉文化奖，《热带探险图鉴》（偕成社）获绘本日本奖，《原始森林》（岩崎书店）获日本厚生省儿童福祉文化奖及科学读物奖。在中国出版的人气绘本有《蹦！》《哇！》《谁的声音？》等，2008年出版的《鼹鼠博士的地震探险》被选入中国小学生基础阅读书目。此外，作者还专门为中国小朋友创作了科普故事绘本《变成了青蛙》。
