About
A little gorilla named "Bao Bao" searched the forest for his mother to hug him. As he walked, he saw a mother elephant hugging her baby elephant, a mother lion hugging her baby lion, and a mother giraffe hugging her baby giraffe. The baby became more and more anxious and couldn't help crying. At this time, the mother gorilla appeared and gave the little gorilla a sweet hug. The animals in the forest couldn't help but cheer "Hug". Hugs are nice, aren't they?
For little kids, hugs are never too many. Children feel warm, happy and comfortable in their parents' arms. Hugging a child to tell him "I love you" is the most direct way for a child to feel his parents' love. This book is free of text. Only the words "hug", "mother" and "baby" appear from beginning to end. However, through the changes in the little gorilla's expression, the reader's heartstrings are unconsciously moved...

About the Translator
Jez Alborough, "Some people write picture books for their children. I don't have children myself. I write picture books for my childhood self." This sentence fully expresses the creative concept of picture book master Jez Alborough. Jez Alborough was born in the UK in 1959. When he was a child, a visitor gave him several pencils, erasers and drawing paper, which aroused his interest in painting. "I have never forgotten this encouragement and touching," Jez said, "I still don't know who the visitor is, but I like to think of him as my guardian angel." After graduating from art college, he spent two years competing with countless other emerging artists before publishers discovered that he could draw and write, and then let his picture book "Bare Bear" be officially published. So far, he has created more than 30 books and has won many picture book awards.
